On the list of upgrades I wanted to do to the "MUTT2", Installing a sleeve hitch was certainly near the top. The Murray Widebody XL that this thing is based off of is certainly not a full fledged garden tractor, and it's not a Electrolux/Craftsman/Husqvarna made unit either so I wasn't sure if installing one the sleeve hitches I picked up would be possible.
With a few mods, I'm happy to say yes, it will work. I've been using it a lot the last week and it does work pretty good, with the biggest issue being that the Murray has a pulley swap to go faster, and that means less low end power. Still I was able to back blade the driveway with it and the unit showed no issues.
