Sandra has found sobriety in a herd of dairy goats. She worked as a police officer at the US Capital until her struggle with alcoholism led her to picking herself up at a small dairy farm in the mountains of South Carolina. She is now a coowner at Split Creek Farm and tends to an ever growing to do list. With her coowner partner, Jessica, they have earned the title of Best Cheese in the World! Sandra’s passion and dedication to not only the farm but to her goats can be seen easily as we walk through the fields and talk about how the farm operates, unique innovations they have created, and how they are educating the public about farming and food.
