In this episode we explore an abandoned Mediterranean style mansion once owned by the Bin Laden family. Khalil Bin Laden, one of Osama Bin Laden's 54 siblings, purchased the property for $1.6 million dollars in 1980. Osama Bin Laden was the mastermind behind the September 11 attacks of 2001 and the founder of the PanIslamic militant organization AlQaeda. Khalil and his family fled under police escort shortly after 9/11, fearing they may be targeted in relation to the terrorist attacks. The mansion has sat empty ever since. Built in 1928, the property features 1,200 ft of private shoreline, 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a 4 car detached garage, a 3,000 ft carriage house and horse stables.
