What a great opportunity it was to attend abilities day at the ifly indoor skydiving facility in Overland Park, Ks.

This event was open to all abilities and it was so much fun.

6 years ago I was shot and became paralyzed from the waist down. I overcame depression on bed rest and lost over 100 pounds. I am currently an adaptive athlete, bodybuilder, and motivational speaker.

I also founded a nonprofit call The Disabled But Not Really Foundation.

DBNR encourages all people with disabilities to get some sort of exercise, regardless of their ability. Our goal is to raise awareness about Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI) and show the positive impact that health and fitness can have in disabled communities globally.
