I am calling out for urgent help. Our beloved dog India is fighting for her life right now!. India was rescued 9 years ago when she was just a puppy, abandoned in a park inside a cardboard box. She had a bad heart problem that needed surgery to save her.

We did the heart surgery, and that saved her, but she was left with a condition called megasophagus. For 9 long years, we fed her very carefully in a special chair so she could eat without problems. Everything was going fine until 2 days ago.

India accidentally ate some food dropped on the floor by another dog. She threw it back up, but then breathed in the vomit, which caused her to get a very serious pneumonia. Now poor India is in the hospital, critically ill and struggling to survive.

India is family to us at the shelter. We promised to care for her entire life when we rescued her. But we cannot do this without your help. Running an animal shelter takes a lot of work and money. Right now, we desperately need funds to cover India’s hospital care and treatment to save her life.
