Hello scrimblos!!

I recreated(more like decreated lol) the infamous "In The Virtual End" with half life 1 characters. This isn't exact recreation of the video but I've managed to recreate most part of it, I have added my own twists to it.

I made a demo of it and posted it on the half life subreddit a month ago and I've decided to make the full video

You might find some differences between shots where one part of the same place looks different. That is cuz i had to use half life source maps for sfm and had to record ingame half life clips for the background and later placed the greenscreen character on top of them.

I will answer a few questions

Q: Why is the video low in quality?
A: I assume that was the resolution of the game when it came out back in the day and that is how most people played it back then. It is the lowest resolution available for the game

Q: Why is the audio low in quality?
A: That is the default quality (11025 Hz) that goldsrc engine uses to play audio. I also thought this quality would add the old feel that i was going for and that's the audio inside half life 1 sounds

Q: What are the things used for making this?
A: Source filmmaker, HalfLife, HalfLife:Opposing Force, HalfLife:Source, Garry's mod and Hunt down the freeman

Ps: I also wanted to add scenes from blue shift(like where you see gordon and the other scene with gina cross) but there is no space for that

Thanks Ray Koefoed for the amazing HL2 music video, It is a masterpiece and i'm glad that its a huge meme in half life community
