In the Curry Masters Kitchen on a Busy Friday Night | Cooking Curries at Tiranga Indian Restaurant

It truly is a real wonder how the Head Chef keeps so calm, cool and collected under such a fast paced environment.

The guys here were very busy at most times of my visit, so I didn't feel it appropriate or right to interrupt to ask what exactly was being cooked.

In this video we once again step foot in the kitchen of one of our favourite Restaurant's in Leicester.

As you know, we love recording Indian Street Food but in this video we go "behind the scenes" to point our camera in the direction of the Curries section of the kitchen in which Head Chef Mukesh Bhai gives us a brief insight into how he cooks up his delicious dishes to a packed and busy restaurant.

Also in the background you can see the other colleagues working their magic such as the tandoori oven master making naan breads and the wok stir fry master cooking up his Indochinese dishes.

What a great example of real team work with everyone manning their relevant sections creating and serving up all the dishes with astonishing military precision.

As well as all the other ingredients, the chef is using no less than three bir (British Indian Restaurant) base gravies.

Note that; in Indian restaurants dishes are cooked on a very high heat which delivers a slight smokiness to the cooked food and gives that distinctive restaurant flavour and character to a dish which just can't be recreated in the home kitchen.

Tiranga Restaurant & Bar is genuinely one of our favourite restaurants whenever my family and I visit Leicester because the food never fails to deliver on the taste factor and the portion size of the food served up is extraordinarily very generous.

A special thank you to the owners Husmukh & Pushpa Patel, Mukesh Bhai who welcomed us and graciously allowed us a privileged glimpse into their kitchen to do the videoing.

Video recorded on a very busy Friday night with a full restaurant, we personally think that Gordon Ramsay (from Hell's Kitchen TV Show) could learn a thing or two in this restaurant kitchen.

It's such a pleasant coincidence that this restaurant shares the same name as the 1993 movie film Tirangaa.
