NSW Police have arrested three Macarthur FC players including captain Ulises Dávila over an alleged betting scandal.

The NSW Police Organised Crime Squad Gaming Unit launched an investigation into the alleged manipulation of yellow cards during football games for gambling purposes.

The players are expected to be charged with betting corruption offences.
