I'll tell you what. If this transmission lasts any length of time, it is thanks to the work from the guys at Bowtie Transmissions. I tried to do the install on my own and failed twice. The first time, my torque converter gap was off. The second time, it was a plethora of different small problems that all added to the 700R4 biting the dust. Chris and Duane from Bowtie helped to diagnose the problems and go through indepth explanations on why things were messing up and how they were supposed to work. First up, my TV cable geometry was not correct. Second, one of my dowel pins seemed to have worked itself out on the trail or the street, and that caused everything to become misaligned. I also had shreds of metal floating through my cooling system. So talk about having our hands full! But the Pitbull is officially back together! And with 2020 coming to a close, we look forward to the adventures we will have living the Bronco lifestyle in 2021. Thanks for watching!
