The cats that were able to take shelter in the large and sturdy cat houses we built survived. Little cat houses didn't stand a chance against the storm. When the storm intensified, we broke the rules and moved the dangerous cat houses to safe areas.

Which rules, which laws?

If you think that I built these cat houses on these rocks as my own choice, you are wrong. The sea and the rocks belong to the state, that is, to the nation. No one can interfere in this area. However, the walking path, green areas and parks belong to the metropolitan municipality. It is strictly forbidden to move cat houses to these areas. The municipality does not allow this at all. 16 million people live in Istanbul. Half of the 16 million people are animal lovers. The other half live away from animals. There are millions of people who do not want the cat houses to be found in green spaces and walkways.

When Prophet Abraham was thrown into the fire, an ant was trying to help him by carrying water in his mouth. The other ants told him that he could not put out the fire. The ant replied: Yes, maybe I can't put out the fire, but it should be clear which side I'm take.

The 'Adorable Paws' family chose their side. We are always on the side of science. After today, monthly cat neutering procedures will be doubled. Because God and nature have more important things to do. Today I have buried the bodies of many kittens in the ground on this island. I will not allow this again at any cost. Many sick kittens are being treated in veterinary clinics. We started to build solid cat houses to replace damaged small cat houses.
