Barrister Sir Geoffrey Nice tells Ben Kentish what will happen if the ICC’s request for arrest warrants for President Netanyahu and Hamas leaders is accepted.

Sir Geoffrey Nice led the prosecution of the former Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic for war crimes at the International Criminal Tribunal.

‘The sentiment that leaders are free…that’s history. If leaders are charged they’ve got to be pursued’, says Sir Geoffrey.

This comes as the International Criminal Court has said it is seeking arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hamas leaders on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
