NOTE:

This flight left more than half an hour late due to the recent Thomas Cook collapse and passengers that were desperately trying to make new travel arrangements. I had a connecting flight in Madrid where the original transfer window was an hour and a half but this had been cut down to just 50 minutes several days before flying out. This late departure meant my transfer window was now just 20 minutes!!!

The plane did make up nearly half an hour while enroute to Madrid, but sadly, this was all lost as the plane was put in a holding pattern near Madrid Barajas before being cleared to land! It then also parked at the complete opposite corner of the airport to where I needed to be for my connecting flight!!!
