American professional eater Randy Santel versus Choofas' XXXL Aussie Burger Challenge plus a lot more added extra popular menu foods, hosted by Choofas Smokehouse & Seafood in Coolangatta of the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia!! My girlfriend ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I left Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia and headed east over to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia where I attempted 5 delicious Australian competitive eating challenges around the greater Brisbane metro area, including Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. For food challenge #3, Katina and I took a train south from Brisbane to Choofas Smokehouse & Seafood in Coolangatta which is a suburb of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. There, we each attempted Choofas' massive XXXL Aussie Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Burger Challenge which thankfully had a full 1 hour time limit. There was a huge 600g Australian beef hamburger patty topped with rashers of bacon, slices of Cheddar cheese, some fried eggs, and more. There were some healthy vegetables, including grilled onions, tomato slices, slices of beetroot, and lettuce. It was all served with more cheese and an excessive amount of aioli on a freshly baked bun with a large basket of chips/fries. I knew I could not beat the record, so for fun I added some popular Choofas' menu items to my platter. I added 4 hot chicken wings, 4 BBQ chicken wings, 4 BBQ pork ribs, and a bowl of Choofas' signature seafood chowder that came with more toasted bread. Let's just say that halfway through and especially afterwards, I was regretful and wished I didn't add all that!! It ended up being a much tougher food challenge than I originally expected. I was still trying to finish everything within the base 1 hour time limit to win my $55 AUD cheeseburger meal free plus some sweet merch and a spot on Choofas' Wall of Fame. Special thanks also to all the amazing people from around the greater Gold Coast area who came up that Thursday evening to watch and meet us!!
