Volgograd (or former Stalingrad) is the city of heroes and the venue of the battle that changed the course of world history. Almost the whole city was destroyed in the World War II, but Volgograd rose like a phoenix from the ashes after the war. This city is also a Soviet experiement of architects and urban planners, that built one of the few linear cities of the world, and there are many curious things to see here.
