After seeing my mates Xbox Series X In Action, I decided it was time to upgrade my ropey old Xbox One X to an internal SSD.

How hard could it be?

Luckily I followed this tutorial:    • 2024 How to Upgrade your Xbox One X a...   ........... But I still made some schoolboy errors!

It was certainly worth doing the upgrade... just don't make the same mistakes as me!

I also realise that I have now lost the green Xbox startup screen, but the only way to get it back is to take the SSD back out and plug it back into a PC... so I'm not bothering!

It really has given the 'old' Xbox One X a new lease of life. The load time for Black Ops Cold War have almost halved!
