Hi all This week, I had planned to repurpose the old baths we found on our new farm to use as carrot raised beds, then start adding hinged polytunnel lids/hoop house.
We had such gorgeous sunny weath to get things done, but things quickly turned sour with rain and wind.
Then Mr TCD and I argued over how "ugly" it all looked and I tried to think creatively to compromise on ways to tidy things up for a cheap £15 solution. His words were, "I want a kitchen garden, not an allotment".
Then I took inspiration from Huw Richards' "How to Build a STRONG hinged hoop house for raised beds" video, with some easy adjustments, although I'm not sure which plastic sheeting he used.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
