I remember the times when zippers became widely used in clothing, although they appeared much earlier. When I was a child, everything was fastened with buttons. Now zippers on almost any thing are convenient, fast, strong. One drawback is that it is shortlived and breaks with active use. But not everyone can change it.
Fasteners include buttons, snaps, hooks, and Velcro. They connect two pieces of clothing together.
Today I will show you an unusual fastening using buttons, but they will serve for a better fit of the product on the figure. The secret is that the belt can be extended and made larger, or retracted and made smaller.
Fastening on the side seam. It's better to do them on both sides.
1) First, I cut out the front piece with a cut, like for a pocket.
2) I treated the cut with a strip of fabric and stitched it from the front side.
3) Then I attached a barrel, which usually comes from the main fabric, but goes into burlap.
4) But in my case this detail made it double.
5) I placed it under the front part of the product. I connected the front piece and the back piece, stitched it, and ironed the seam.
6) Visually it looks like a pocket, but in fact the upper part folds away from the lower part.
7) First belt. I attached the belt, and to it a strap that I had sewn in advance.
8) The length of the strap is approximately 15 cm, its length should be enough to move around the belt.
Second belt.
9) It is attached as usual, but along with it a small drawstring, 6 7 cm long, is attached, into which the strap will be threaded.
10) On site you need to look at where to place it. That is, the strapbelt should move inside the drawstring and not go beyond its limits.
11) I made a loop on the strap. On the back of the product I sewed 3 buttons at the same distance from each other.
Such fasteners are convenient for those who tend to gain weight quickly and lose weight just as quickly.
The waist circumference can be adjusted using buttons and it looks unusual and beautiful.
