Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go completely off grid in Cambodia? Well.... I did. And it's not what you might expect.

Join me in this video as I spend a night with my Khmer parents "Au bpok" and "Mae" the incredibly kind and compassionate parents of my friends Phany and Sophanin, whom I've known for years here in Cambodia.

Something interesting to note with many expats here in Cambodia is that a "Khmer family" will often be brought up. This is a local family that literally FEELS like family to the expat. Holidays and special moments will be celebrated together. They take care of you... treat you as their own. This is part of the Khmer way...and the reason I am here in this beautiful country.
