I spent a super quiet Saturday alone (with my cat) doing all of my favourite things! Of course, for me that means being a plant mom and baking tons of stuff! I spent a lot of time watering and fixing up some of my veggie plants since they were growing quite leggy due to lack of light. I quickly repotted them and now they are doing great! Though, I still have an issue with my cat chewing up my baby plants, any good ideas/suggestions?! He's already chewed up a few tomato and pepper plants! My heart breaks every time I see another broken sprout! I've tried putting covers over my plants to stop him from getting on it but he is too smart and he either lifts up the cover or steps on it and ends up flattening the sprouts! I've also tried putting my plants in a cage. This is why in the video you can see me putting the cage cover back over my plants lol!

I also baked Shokupan and hong kong style pineapple buns this day! I followed two really good recipes that I found on youtube. If you are interested, you can find them linked below! I personally love eating buns, so being able to make them myself and share it with my friends and family made me super happy! Although it was my first time making shokupan and hk bolo bao they turned out really well in my opinion!

In the evening we decided to bring Wilfred (my cat) out for a walk on our front lawn! We've been trying to desensitize him to the sounds of cars, people, dogs and kids and he's done very well the past few weeks. He loves the outdoors and always begs to go outside. The people in our neighbourhood love him and always stop by to say hi! Since it's warming up, we will be bringing him out for walks a lot more! (only on days where the weather is bearable and not too hot of course!)
