Holy Dooley! What exciting past few days. After the installation of the new solar system, I could now really see its full potential! We have a lot of power. Too much power, to be honest. I really had to limit the solar charge controllers while I was not at home. Far too scary seeing over 250A going into the battery.
But today is the first day we unleash the beast and observe what happens when more than 12.000W of solar power charging the battery. How well will the BMSes handle this situation? Will the circuit breakers trip? We do a comprehensive observation of the system in different situations and monitor the outcome.
You will also see why shading does not matter any more.
