I have mental illness and I've also most certainly been going through a season of spiritual warfare. As a Christian with bipolar disorder, I often have a hard time determining if my depression and anxiety are due to mental illness or spiritual warfare.
Lately, the enemy has been attacking my peace and sleep. I've been in a spiritual warfare season since early February of this year. If you're a Christian with mental illness AND you're going through a season of spiritual warfare I feel your pain.
Sometimes I feel helpless through the hopelessness and despair that's been clouding my life. However, I know that this is all piling down because my faith in God is worth attacking. My hope is so strong that it's worth destroying. That also means that the things I have hope for are still coming and they're GOOD for God's kingdom.
