Welcome back to another Guest Bedroom episode! In this series, I’m taking my once dark and moody guest bedroom and transforming it into a space inspired by my love of light academia, english cottage and modern vintage. In this episode, I’m putting my DIY skills to the test to create a custom oak headboard, complete with a tufted pillow for show! I’m using some unconventional items for this but I think it’s going to pay off cross fingers!

✨ Headboard Materials:
(1) 4x8 White Oak Plywood
(2) 4ft Red Oak Handrails with dado
Hardwood Pocket Hole Screws
Corner Round Router Bit
Wood Glue
¼” thick Oak Lumber (or scrap oak milled down to ¼” thick)

⚡ Tools Used:
Drill
Circular Saw
Pocket Hole Jig
Brad Nailer
Planer
Router
