Why I Chose A Pelican Case | Pelican Cargo Case and Mount Review

Cheap, run of the mill Walmart special cases dont cut it. Some people will tell you that you can get something as good as "X" brand for 1/8 of the cost. I'm hear to say that you cant!

Today I am reviewing the Pelican Cargo Case, specifically the Pelican BX55s. These cases are built to last, built to store, and built to mount up and go. I think these are a solid option for those looking to add some lockable storage without all of the bulk and weight of some of the other options out there.

Note that at the time of filming, these cases were listed as 36L. Pelican said that is only to the inside of the lip, the most narrow part of the case. I am guessing this particular case is closer to the 4550L mark. I will post updated info when I know.
