I never knew this was a 'thing,' to be able to buy old diaries online! But I'm hooked now. This is the first diary I bought a few months ago, written by a woman named Adeline Barnes of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. I have not yet been able to find a photograph of her, or information on any living family members, though not for lack of trying! I love reading her thoughts, and she has some insight that I think she would be very happy to share with the young folks of today. I love getting a glimpse of what life was like in the past... if you'd like me to continue reading from her diary, please let me know.
