Hyperlite Mountain Gear Ultamid 2 tent in subfreezing weather. It was so cold that 4 of my strong HMG 8" Aluminium Stakes broke. The heads pulled off when I pulled them out of the frozen ground. The extreme cold had shrunk the metal so much the friction press fit system did not hold them on the top. I put them back on, and when they are back at normal daytime temps they seem to be ok and hold on tight again!? But it spooked me and made me doubt these amazing stakes. The Ultamid 2 tent was magnificent in these temps.
