Huntsville is the thirdbest place in the United States to live in, according to the 2021 rankings of the country’s largest metros released Tuesday by U.S. News & World Report. This northern Alabama metro area is the most affordable place to live out of the 150 most populous metro areas in the U.S., and has many local companies focused on science, technology, engineering and math, which contributes to a higher average annual salary for the local population.
