There are several ways to fillet Salmon. It comes down to practice and building confidence in your ability to turn out a nice fillet when you are done.
The main goal in “FilletingFish” is to remove the bones. With Salmon and Steelhead when you are done with the fillet, you still have the PinBones in the fillet. You have a couple choices...... leave them in or pull them out with pliers.
OR you can fillet them out.
