3 years ago, we've posted our first video on removing orange peel without sanding (   • Auto detailing  Removing Orange Peel...  ). However it was just a very rough demonstration video.

This time, we've done a stepbystep video guiding you through how we remove orange peel here in OSREN without sanding.

Here are some of the tips to take note!

Tip 1:
Use masking tape to mask off unpainted plastics, edges, rubber trims, and panels that bulge out (i.e. door handles & skirtings).

Tip 2:
Prime the pads before use. (For new pads only)

Tip 3:
Work small section at a time.

Tip 4:
Use 600rpm to spread the polish and 1400rpm to buff.

Tip 5:
Use reflections or fluorescent tubes as guide.

Tip 6:
Don't apply too much pressure on edges & curves. Apply pressure on flat panels.

Tip 7:
Go for 2nd pass if necessary.

Tip 8:
Lower down the speed for tight areas.

Tip 9:
Finish up with polish and glaze.

Tip 10:
Clean the denim pad with masking tape's core.
