How we feed our Leonberger Raw Food

Raw Food can be expensive, messy and complicated...especially with a giant breed like a leonberger. But after trying it many different ways, this meal prep style has worked the best for us in keeping it simple and easy with a busy home and little ones. It's also the most economical route that we've sourced.

I cannot claim the 'recipe' as it was provided by our breeder who created it with a vet. It was designed to support her Leonbergers and may need to be tweaked for other breeds. Do your research to ensure that your dogs unique nutritional needs are met.

But this is how we take that recipe and make it work for our schedules.
We pick up supplies once a month. We prep these meals on average twice a month. We have a 7cubic foot chest freezer that is the 'dogs' freezer.
