Once you have fiber glassed over your plywood, you NEED to seal it with gelcoat! Gelcoat not only makes your fiber glass work look better, it seals and creates a water barrier for your raw Fiber glass. This step is very important, and should not be skipped! It is not hard to work with gelcoat, you just need to understand the basics. In this video I will show you how we have been gel coating over fiber glass for years in our families Boat shop.
