Let's be honest; writing learning objectives isn't the most exciting part of the instructional design process. But, learning objectives are important—they are statements that define the outcomes or the final results of the training experience. And if you don't clearly state or define the objectives for what a training experience should cover and achieve, how will you know if you've been successful? My point is that no instructional design or eLearning development project should start without a set of clearly defined learning objectives.

So, in this video, I'll share with you how to create performancebased learning objectives, including the anatomy of a learning objective, how to write terminal and enabling learning objectives, and how to use Bloom's Taxonomy to identify action verbs for your learning objectives.
