Recently I was helping a buddy fix a few things around his house. We needed to replace some water lines and ended up trying the AquaLock push to connect fittings by Watts. His water heater was leaking at several fixtures and I told him he needed to cut all the old corroded lines out and replace them with PEX.
We searched for a sharkbite 3/4" PEX to a 3/4" Pex coupling, but every hardware store we went to was sold out. The area had experienced sub zero temps the previous two weeks and many homeowners had busted water lines.
We searched and searched and finally found these Aqualocks by Watts. They appear to be made from PVC and work similar to Sharkbite push to connect fittings.
