I have just started using Aeon Timeline to keep track of the events in my book and it has helped me so much with keeping track of my plot and when things happen in my story. Using a timeline app and putting in when things happen in my novel helps me avoid oversights like confusing the days, having one character magically change clothes midscene, and or them appearing to timetravel.
