Today we would like to help you with a simple task, that sometimes isn't so simple.....finding a stud. We have all at one time or another, wanted or needed to hang something on a wall. Most of the time we would prefer to mount something directly into wood for a more secure hold, especially when mounting something heavy like a television. Trying to locate a stud behind sheetrock is not always easy, but it can be with a Magnetic Stud Finder as we will show you in this video. I will also show you how to find the center of a stud once you've located it. This is very important to know, espeically when mounting a heavy object as we mentioned earlier.
