Today I'll show you how to tie a clinch knot step by step and then we'll use that improved version of the clinch knot (also known as the double clinch knot) to tie up my super secret swimbait setup that consistently catches all kinds of fish and is a great spring and summer bait! Both largemouth and smallmouth bass can't resist this lure. We'll go over why I prefer the improved clinch knot for this specific rig and how to fish this extremely versatile swimbait setup.

The improved clinch knot is also very easy to tie, and works great with Fluorocarbon, braid and mono, and can be used to tie up just about anything to your line.
