This entire video was filmed with a @PanasonicLumixVideo S1, Sigma 35mm f/1.4, @SmallRig Lumix S1 Cage, Smallrig adapter, SmallHD501 monitor and a super thin HDMI cable. The reason why I stuck with handheld throughout this entire gym video tutorial was to cater my handheld tips and tricks to the creatives who are just entering the filmmaking or fitness video scene and don't quite have a gimbal yet or have a small list of camera equipment.

This video is a little lengthy due to the fact that we went EXTREMELY indepth with this niche of filmmaking. This video was created to give experienced and nonexperienced fitness filmmakers that extra tips and tricks edge to make their next fitness/gym video that much better. This is the most indepth gym video tutorial / guide on YouTube right now and we packed this 30 minute video with an abundance of tips and tricks all for free, to benefit everyone who is apart of our community.

This video covers: The camera equipment I used to create these cinematic gym videos, our 'practice editing gym video' pack, various lighting techniques, white balance tips & settings, tips for 60fps filming (slow motion), how to increase production value with extra camera angles, how we filmed the intro scene & establishing shots, how to line up your subject and achieve the best camera angles, how to hide from mirrors in gyms, technical handheld tips and tricks, shutter speed tip in 24FPS and how to film athletes; squatting, deadlifting, dumbbell chest press, smith machine press, tbar row, cable rope pulldown, lat pulldown, cable curl, dumbbell row and cable face pull (with a rope).
