Many badminton enthusiasts are confused as to how to return the flick serve. The return of the flick serve requires intricate footwork and balance. You should also be able to read your opponent’s body language and be ready to smash it, whether it’s a fake low serve or a real one. If you want to learn straight away how to smash in badminton, then follow along closely to Al Liao’s instructions and practice till your body moves of its own accord. Returning a serve puts you in an offensive position, and you want to keep your opponent in a defensive position by keeping that shuttle down at all times. You will observe in the video that the player’s stance is neutral, till he’s ready to move in a split second because that’s all you have when returning a flick serve. This video teaches the benefits of both: the China Step and Scissors kick step while returning a serve. Make good moves, watch the next video, and subscribe to our channel for more on how to rule the badminton court!
