In this video I replace a kitchen sink from cast iron to stainless steel. The common problems you may run into are: leaking shutoff valves when you turn them back on, pipes the wrong length after the swap and undertightening the new drains thus causing leaks. If you are set on buying stainless steel, it is worth it to spend the extra money for a good one. Make sure the sink is deep and the metal thick! It matters! Best of luck on your repair.
