How to Replace a Window Regulator Hyundai 2012 Elantra Touring

This year for Thanksgiving the family was at the house, including my sister, and she needed to do some maintenance on her car before going back home. My dad and I put on our work clothes and spent Thanksgiving day working on her car. My focus was on replacing the passenger door window regulator. The regulator had broken some time prior and the window had to be kept closed out of an abundance of caution, that once opened, it wouldn't be able to close again. This particular issue is apparently fairly common due to a design issue with the regulator and is not the first time my sister has had to replace a broken window regulator. It was pretty easy to replace with the only special tool required being a pop rivet gun. You can substitute out pop rivets for metal screws if you do not own a pop rivet gun.
