She may drive a QX60 (that is an SUV), but this is the Infiniti Q50 sedan, just a clarification. ITEMS/TOOLS NEEDED:
1. Painted Infiniti Q50 Side Mirror (http://bit.ly/1417Q50sideviewmirror)
2. Plastic panel clip remover (or you can use a flathead screwdriver)
3. 10mm wrench or socket wrench
4. Philips screwdriver

REPLACEMENT PROCESS: The process on how to remove and install your new mirror is very simple and can be achieved with only a few tools that can be purchased for under $10.00. This Q50 side view mirror replacement begins with us removing the door panel, which is held on by a few screws/bolts near the armrest and interior door handle. When you remove this, make sure to push up on the door panel to remove it. The door panel is hooked over the top of the door by the windshield. So, push the door panel up towards the top of the door to remove it. There is also the window trim up top. You do not have to completely remove it but you can just pop off the part cover the mirror and unscrew the bolts with a short 10mm socket or wrench.

In the video, we kept the electrical wire plugged in, but you can either remove the plug or the nuts last. Just make sure you are holding the Infiniti Q50 side mirror before you do so not because you don't want to damage the mirror, but because you don't want the mirror to fall and hit your door causing dents or scratches. Once you install the side door mirror back on, be sure to check the function of the mirror before you place the door panel back on. It's pretty rare that the features may not work but the chances are never 0%.

After you are 100% sure everything is working in tiptop shape, you can be to secure everything back onto the door. Tighten all the screws and make sure all the plastic pieces and door panels snap back on. It's all as easy as pie and you are now onestop closer to opening your own body shop. Okay, maybe not but you just installed your own mirror, yay!!!
