Learn how to repack the wheel bearings on a trailer in this video from Boats.net!

John’s trailer has been around since 1986. One way he keeps it rolling along is by repacking the wheel bearings and maintaining the other hub components every year.

In this video, John will walk you through how to repack your trailer bearings. This involves disassembling the hub, using a hand bearing packer to force the old grease out of the bearings and replace it with new grease, and also replace the seals on his hub.

As for the grease, John is using an NLGI class GCLB grease to repack his wheel bearings, which is a grease rated for chassis and wheel bearing lubrication.
