Welcome Back Friends!

The title of the video says it all today we are going to show you how WE removed the stow and go seats from our 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan. You can follow along for the step by step guide and check the description below for a step by step guide as well after the video is done! We'll be sharing what we do with this added space in a coming video so be sure to Subscribe to our channel to find out! But for now, let's get to it on these seats!

1. Make sure the front seats are scooted all the way forward
2. Remove any floor mats in the cargo area
3. Grab your tools You'll need a 11mm socket for the bolts holding the plastic casing down, a 15mm socket for the bolts holding the actual seat in, socket wrench, an extension socket and a flathead screwdriver or any small tool with a flat head.
4. With your flathead tool, pop the small, round plastic cap off that is on the corner of the plastic casing closest to the rear of the van. This will reveal a hidden bolt.
5. Use your 11mm Socket to remove all the bolts in the plastic there are 3 on the side and one in between the chairs under a flat, plastic housing. You will need to pull the plastic housing off to get to this bolt check minute 3:32 in the video on how to do this. It seems tricky but its not =)
6. Using your 15mm Socket, remove the two bolts on the OUTSIDES of the chair you will leave the third one for last.
7. Loosen the middle bolt (no more than maybe 1/4 turn) so its easier to get off once the chair is in an upright position.
8. Return the chair to an upright position On the first chair we thought we had to return it to a sitting position, but you do not, you will see this on the second chair. You can just pull the chair up, into a completely vertical, upwards position.
9. Remove the center bolt either how Ryan did it or you can use the direct above the bolt approach, but you will need your extension socket for this!
10. The Chair is now ready to be removed! You will want to lift the chair STRAIGHT UP not at an angle like Ryan did at first. These chairs weigh about 60lbs so be careful lifting!
11. Detach any electrical cords before completely ripping the chair away (if your model of van is equipped with electric like our R/T model is).

*REPEAT ALL STEPS WITH THE SECOND CHAIR*

Use caution when doing this job the seats are equipped with a spring mechanism that can pop up pretty hard and fast. This is part of why the chair is set in the upright position BEFORE removing that last bolt.
