I share a technique I used to make 5 Gallons of Evaporust able to fully submerge a small block Chevy engine block.

Derusting solutions and techniques vary. I found this to be the safest method since Evaporust will not eat metal like some of the other popular methods. There is little to no odor or messy cleaup which is the number 1 reason I chose this over molasses. With this method is also comes in at a cost of less than $100 so I think it is competitive with the cheap options. There was zero risk leaving it tin too long, so I worked the project around my freetime over the span of 1 week with excellent results!
