In this video a Healthy Carpets cleaning tech (Marshall Witt) will demonstrate on how to successfully remove a coffee stain from your carpets. The first step in this demonstration is to use a acid base spot remover and mist on the carpet, blot as much of the coffee up as possible with a polyester cloth. 2nd your going to want to put your iron on low to medium heat depending on the carpet type. In This demonstration the iron was on medium heat. Your going to want to get a different polyester cloth and go over the stain with heat. The main goal here is to wick the coffee up through the polyester cloth instead of the carpet. Now your going to want to flush out the coffee stain with fresh HOT water and extract using a water claw. The final step is to clean the carpets fibers as you would as a regular carpet cleaning.
