How to release Rotator Cuff Muscles Trigger Points

The four rotator cuff muscles help to stabilise the shoulder joint. They stop the head of the humerus (arm bone) from sliding up in the shoulder joint (which causes shoulder impingement).

If the shoulder blade does not upwardly rotate enough when you lift your arm, the rotator cuff muscles have to work extremely hard to compensate, which can cause these trigger points. So, the key to stop trigger points in the rotator cuff muscles is to improve shoulder blade movement. You can watch a video on how to do that here...
