Cutting and compounding with a rotary polisher can be speedy and powerful means to remove heavy defects on paint. However, a powerful polisher like the rotary polisher poses difficulty in reducing its cutting ability.

This is evidently noticeable when finishing a softer paint after the compounding stage. Holograms and microswirls can be slightly challenging to remove compared to a dualaction polisher.
