The First thing you need to do... is practice putting on your tire chains at home... no matter what brand you end up getting. Being familiar with the process is a must. It will save you tons of time and frustration when it matters most. I can not emphasize this enough. But if for whatever reason you haven't been able to do this, don't worry. These Auto Tightening tire chains form Peerless are a life saver.

Luckily we got ahead of the issue and put them on the day before we left and I could take my time if needed, and not find our selves doing it on the side of the road or in a time crunch. I would highly recommend these AutoTrac chains though, they are awesome! The fact that you can put them on where your vehicle sits is huge. If you did have to put them on while on the side of the road or worst case scenario while you're stuck on a tail...you may not be able to move the vehicle forward or back safely. So these going on around your tires on the ground and auto tightening was the selling point for me.

The 2300 Series are for a lot of the larger style tires, but if you click on the link it will take you to the product and from there you can see their chart for sizing. The "Series" or product number for each size range was pretty accurate. We got the right ones first try. 100% recommended.
