Slip leads are my favorite "goto" leashes just to grab the dog and take her for a quick walk or a potty break. These leashes by design are meant to cinch and release, and in order for them to appropriately cinch and release, there's a proper way to actually put it on your dog.

If you're thinking about using a slip lead or you like using these to take your dog for a quick walk, let me show you the proper placement of these on your dog.

Some slip leads actually come with these little stoppers, and that's meant to prevent the ability for it to slip and release. So be aware of that if you have a slip lead and you use that stopper.
