3D printing Miniatures with a FDM (Filament) printer is a great cost effective way to print minis for painting. Today, I go over the settings you need and paint a model that I 3D printed using my fdm printer. All of this is done with the stock 0.4 mm stock nozzle and it’s printed on a Creality Ender 3 V3 SE
Settings:
Nozzle: stock 0.4 mm
Layer height: 0.1 mm
Print speed: 2560 mm/s
Adhesion: brim
Retraction distance: 5 mm
Retraction speed: 40 mm/s
Supports: duh
Wall thickness: 0.8 mm (2 walls with stock nozzle
