The following clip was taken from today's home visit.
The client has 3 dogs, a Spaniel, a Staff and a French Bulldog.
The French bulldog has got into a couple of scraps with the Staffie. Often when he is being fussed, when there is to much or excitement and will take toys off of the Staffie. Of course it's never a good thing when this is happening particularly with Bully breeds.

We went back to basics, making sure the dogs understood that bed means bed, working on engagement and how to give the dogs affection without it becoming a contest among other things. We also focused on walking them under control (stay tuned for that segment tomorrow).

This clip was talking about play between the dogs (a major issue in this house as it gets to much and escalates) and how to control it and how to stop it and how to advocate for the dogs when they have Bones or Toys.

Simple things can make the world of a difference when you have a pack and can really help prevent domestic disputes amongst the pack.
